All lovers of cycling should also consider the issue of storage. Keeping them in an unheated room is not recommended. Even in summer, it is better not to take out a bicycle on the balcony, so as not to expose it to constant exposure to sunlight.
Therefore, for many, the best option is to store bicycles in an apartment. One of the most convenient devices of all is a wooden wall knobs that is attached to the wall and allows you to hang the bike in an upright position. To do this, it is usually hooked to the wheel, but it can also be hung on the frame.
Wooden wall knobs are a common type of mount, where the bike can be compactly placed along the wall, avoiding contact of the wheels with wallpaper and other disadvantages. More suitable for owners of road bikes and other bikes with narrow handlebars.
The advantage of our shelves is that they are suitable for bicycles with any frame design since the bike is suspended by the saddle.
We came up with the idea for these shelves after we struggled with existing bike wall mounts that scratched the frame or damaged cables.
As a result, we decided to create a shelf on which the bike is stored, being fixed to the saddle. Our bicycle storage project at home exceeded our expectations twice.
The contours of our shelves look nice and modern. In addition, you can store a helmet and other cycling accessories on it. The shelf can only take one bike, and problems can arise if the handlebars are too wide.
All our shelves are made of natural materials and have good moisture resistance. They are non-toxic and durable.
We are Max and Oleg – two friends and Twonee co-founders. In university, we were dreaming about our project to create cool stuff for others like us – those who appreciate good design.
Our idea arose from a need since such shelves could only be purchased abroad for a lot of money. Now, thanks to us, everyone can afford to store a bike beautifully and conveniently.
